Angel is one of the only 11 professional female boxers representing UK on a professional level. She is number 4 Europe lightweight boxer. Her career started 7 years ago when she retired from a professional BMX sport competition after some serious knees injuries that left her unable to compete. However she never gave up and soon after recovering she got into boxing. She is currently still boxing most often in Europe and you can also see her on Sky Sports channel from time to time.
Since 2000 Angel has also been running her own gym and working as a Personal Trainer since then. Her training is based on boxercise work and “Get fit without getting hit.” She says ” It is a typical workout that boxers are using to become boxers but nowadays I successfully use it for all my clients.” Removing the element of contact, Angel has designed her own way of boxing fitness which is hugely fun, motivating, effective and which can be tailor-made to achieve a wide range of different fitness goals.
When boxers are preparing for the fight, they follow a traditional routine that is proven to develop fitness, strength, speed, coordination, flexibility and focus – all in a balanced combination, refining both the body and the mind. As a result, the most successful boxers are also among the world’s most successful athletes.
With a boxing workout is easy to lose weight, tone up and improve stamina. As well many people find boxing fitness therapeutic, helping them to reduce stress, frustration and feel more confident in their everyday lives.
Angel is also involved in training kids for the upcoming Olympic Games 2012 in London and she he is very successfully running the Amateur Boxing club in SE London.
In September 2006 Angel won the second place in fitness category the UKBFF championship (bodybuilders and fitness competition)
